The Swamp is a minor location located in the VLF Facility. It is a swamp with various fallen space machinery.

The can be accessed via a split in a path that leads to muddy waters. Much of the area is submerged in the water, and can only be accessed by Rico (one of his Telepoints is located here).
Two areas are able to be explored thoroughly, them being the crashed space shuttle and the hydroponic dome containing a number of Grondas as well as a Four Leafed Clover. The shuttle can be entered underwater by entering the thrusters and swimming up to the cockpit. There is also an uphill area behind the dome that can be traversed that leads around back to the swamp entrance. The area under the dome can also be explored.
Conchita can also be rescued in this location.
